Brand your menu
Open Settings → Branding to make your public menu look like your restaurant. Branding is for admins and owners.
Images
All four are optional:
| Image | Where it shows | Max size |
|---|---|---|
| Logo | Your wordmark, at the bottom of your menu, linked to your website. It also shows at the top unless you have both a banner and an icon. | 2 MB |
| Dark-mode logo | Used instead of the logo when your menu is dark: on a guest's phone in dark mode with Adaptive colors, or when you picked a dark background. | 2 MB |
| Icon | A square mark, shown as a rounded badge over the bottom edge of your banner. It shows only when there's a banner too. | 1 MB |
| Banner | A wide image across the top of your menu, with your icon over it. It shows only when there's an icon too. | 8 MB |
With both a banner and an icon, the top of your menu shows them with your restaurant's name. With only a logo, it shows your logo. With neither, it shows your restaurant's name.
Your banner and icon apply to every menu. To give one menu its own, for a Late Night or brunch menu, open that menu and set Banner or Icon in its Menu panel. It replaces the restaurant's on that menu only, in the editor and on your public menu; remove it to go back to the restaurant's.
Colors
- Adaptive colors: on, your menu is light or dark to match each guest's phone setting, and your brand color shows in both. It's on for new restaurants.
- Brand color: your accent, for the active category and highlights.
Turn Adaptive colors off to choose the rest yourself:
- Secondary color: a second accent.
- Background color: the page behind your menu. MenuTada picks light or dark text so the menu stays readable on it.
Fonts
Type the name of any Google Font for the Heading font and the Body font, exactly as Google spells it ("Playfair Display"). Leave them at Default to use MenuTada's.
Remove MenuTada branding
On the Free plan, the bottom of your menu says Powered by MenuTada, with MenuTada's logo, copyright and Terms and Privacy links, and the preview image people see when your menu is shared has a small MenuTada label. MenuTada+ removes them, including during the free trial. Your own logo, website link and social links stay.
If MenuTada+ ends, MenuTada's branding comes back. A preview image a social app already saved can keep the old look for a while.
Open your public menu in another tab while you work: changes show as soon as you save.
